According to Wikipedia, Sun Yat-sen University is a national public university located in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It was founded in 1924 by and named after Sun Yat-sen, a revolutionary and the founder of the Republic of China. The university is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, and co-funded by the Ministry of Education, SASTIND, and the Guangdong Provincial Government. It is part of Project 985, Project 211, and the Double First Class University Plan.
