    The accelerated track for the master’s degree is a semester less than for students in the traditional program. Students may take up to 16 credits of graduate-level coursework while earning their bachelor’s degree. After completing their BA/BS, students must apply for and be accepted into a master’s program. Students must start the program in the semester they are accepted and take the academic and clinical courses in the order specified in the track’s catalog.

    Coursework is mostly delivered on campus. However, internships can be done in the student’s local area in coordination with the school. Online courses are also subject to availability and will depend on the student’s aptitude.

    One of Ohio’s biggest universities is the University of Akron, founded by the Universalist Church’s members in 1872. The university was initially named after Akron businessman John R.
